The Nature of Nature, 2013-2017
The Nature of Nature, 2013-2017. These photographs, along with over 700 others, are my responses to Paul Klee’s assignments to his students at the Bauhaus. In a self-designed MFA, I reviewed thousands of pages of Paul Klee’s pedagogic notes, explored his lessons on pictorial configuration, movement, rhythm and color, and responded top these lessons with a 4x5 field camera and hand cut stencils placed on the film plane.
